Orthopaedic bone screw, nonbioabsorbable, nonsterile. A small, nonsterile, threaded rod with a slotted head typically used for internal orthopaedic fracture fixation by being screwed into bone to hold plates or nails to bone or to provide direct interfragmentary stabilization of bone, or it may fasten soft tissue to bone; it is made of a material that cannot be chemically degraded or absorbed via natural body processes (includes implant grade metal such as surgical steel, titanium alloy, or carbon fibre). Screws available are: cortical, cancellous, malleolar, scaphoid, partiallythreaded and fullythreaded, selftapping, and cannulated. A "lag screw" can be any of these used to obtain compression. This device must be sterilized prior to use.

Smoother recovery transitions were supported effectively by this really well-designed screw system. I was impressed with how easily it integrated, making a significant difference post-procedure and reducing discomfort quicker than expected. The cannulated design proved exceptionally helpful for precise placement, which is a huge plus for any surgical application where accuracy is paramount. My only slight concern is that for extremely dense bone, a slightly more aggressive thread pitch might have offered even greater initial stability, though it held up wonderfully in most scenarios. Overall, it's a top-notch piece of equipment that I'd happily recommend.
