Orthopaedic fixation plate, non-bioabsorbable, non-sterile. A non-sterile implantable sheet of firm material intended to be attached to fractured long bone fragments with screws to bridge and stabilize the fracture gap, and shield the site from stress as the bone heals; the material is not chemically degraded or absorbed by natural body processes (includes implant grade metal such as surgical steel, titanium alloy, or carbon fibre). The device is typically used to treat traumatic or pathological orthopaedic fractures; it may also be used to temporarily augment bone following a lengthening procedure, or for arthrodesis (joint fusion). This device is intended to be sterilized prior to use.

Flexibility during rehabilitation was supported by the Omni Mtp Fusion Plate's secure fixation, which allowed for gradual movement without compromising stability. It really felt like my bone had a solid foundation to heal on. The material seems incredibly robust, giving me confidence throughout the recovery process. My surgeon mentioned it's a really reliable option for complex fractures. While it’s certainly effective, I did find the initial post-operative discomfort a bit more significant than anticipated, though that likely varies greatly from person to person and case to case. Overall, a truly dependable piece of orthopaedic hardware that played a crucial role in getting me back on track.
