Total metatarsophalangeal joint prosthesis, one-piece. A sterile implantable device designed to replace the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint(s) of the foot (toe). The device is made of a single piece of silicone elastomer. It is is intended to treat degenerative or traumatic arthritis, hallux valgus, hallus rigidus, and/or an unstable or painful MTP joint.

Post-surgical recovery gained consistency using this RTS implant. It provided excellent stability during a crucial healing period, which was a huge relief. The design felt secure and allowed for a gradual return to normal movement without excessive worry. My surgeon was pleased with how well it integrated. If I had to point out one thing, it's that the initial fitting felt a little snug, but that eased up considerably after a few days. Overall, a really positive experience that made a difficult time much more manageable.
