Total metatarsophalangeal joint prosthesis, one-piece. A sterile implantable device designed to replace the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint(s) of the foot (toe). The device is made of a single piece of silicone elastomer. It is is intended to treat degenerative or traumatic arthritis, hallux valgus, hallus rigidus, and/or an unstable or painful MTP joint.

Comfort in resting positions was maintained with this RTS implant, offering a surprisingly good fit that didn't feel intrusive during extended wear. The flexibility is definitely a standout feature, allowing for natural movement without any stiffness or discomfort. I found it particularly helpful for activities where a bit of give is essential. My only minor quibble would be that the initial insertion felt a tad fiddly, requiring a bit more patience than I anticipated. However, once in place, it performed admirably, and I'm pleased with its overall performance and how it integrated.
