This was a “mini open” double

Very rigid so I needed some soft tissue releases (peroneus brevis plus some lateral subtalar/TN ligaments. Also her bone was not the best . I had no idea if I was in bone or in joint based on “feel”. The mini open was nice to localize the joint lines also.

I would highly recommend this as a stepping stone to all MIS joint prep but also for tougher cases with lots of rigidity. hashtag#misfootsurgery hashtag#footarthritis Enovis Foot & Ankle Corine L.
